After being a part of back-to-back fiction shows, 'Uttaran' actor Nandish Sandhu feels that reality series are more fun as one does not have to follow a script.
Nandish, who will be next seen in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi: Darr Ka Blockbuster Returns', said the reality shows are all performance based.
"I just finished a reality show 'Box Cricket League' before going to Capetown for 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'. Reality is more fun because you can be yourself and you don't have to follow a script. You go, perform and the best person wins," Nandish told PTI.
The actor is a wild card entry on the upcoming stunt based show and he feels taking up 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' was more of a challenge for him.
The model-actor feels his rebellious nature has helped him to give a tough competition to other 14 contestants on the show including wife Rashmi Desai.
"I have always been a rebel. I did what my parents asked me not to do. And this nature of mine helped me in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'. I love to take challenges and in this show, it's about being mentally strong than physically. I knew that I am physically fit but I didn't know how much mentally strong I am. So, I opted for it," he said.

The actor feels that the show's host Rohit Shetty is apt for it because he knows the stunts well.
"Rohit is an amazing host. He knows the pulse of the show well. Nobody could be a better host and anchor. He gave us tips on safety and how to do it," he added.
There were reports that the Nandish and Rashmi, who tied the knot in 2011 after falling in love on the sets of 'Uttaran', were living separately after their marriage was on the rocks in early 2013.
But the actor says he has no problem in sharing screen space with her.
"I am open to work with her (Rashmi) in more shows. It was good that we both were on 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' together. But we didn't get much time to spend as it was a reality show.
"In this show, most of time were spent on preparing and doing stunts. The only thing was that when she was performing stunts, I was cheering for her and when I was doing she also did the same," Nandish said.
