Reasi Royals lift Pir Panjal Knight Premier League Trophy

The Reasi Royals today lifted the second Pir Panjal Knight Premier League Trophy by defeating the Romeo Rockets by five wickets.
The finals of the Pir Panjal Knight Premier League Trophy was played between the Reasi Royals and Romeo Rockets in which the Reai Royals defeated the Romeo Rockets by five wickets, a defence spokesman said.
Besides the cricket match, the Kho-Kho match was also played in the league and the Reasi Nightingales won the final by defeating Rajouri Eves by 12 points.
The tournament was launched by the Nagrota based 16 corps of the army with the aim to provide the youth of the region to showcase their talent.
"This has become a much awaited tournament as large number of teams and players show their enthusiasm and participate in large number in the event," defence spokesman Lt Col Manish Mehta said.
He said that the event that has become a major success in the region attracted a large number of spectators who came from across the state to witness the event.
The General Officer Commanding of the 16 Corps distributed the prizes to the winners and the runners-up teams.
