The book has been adapted by Scott Neustadter and Michael H Weber, who also scripted the adaptation of Green's "The Fault in Our Stars," reported Variety.
Producers are Temple Hill's Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen, Mark Waters and Jessica Tuchinsky.
The story is set at the Culver Creek Boarding School and centers on Alaska Young, the reckless girl who's the object of affection for most males at the school.
Paramount picked up the rights to "Looking for Alaska" in 2005 and set up the project with Waters and Tuchinsky after outbidding several other studios. At that point, Josh Schwartz was attached to direct.
