"We have asked for an additional time and we will respond to the notice tomorrow afternoon.
"Most of our leaders have prior commitment which is why we could not respond to the notice. The party has given a day more to respond to the notice," said a source close to rebel camp.
The rebels leaders have also raised objection to the presence of Ashish Khaitan and Pankaj Gupta's presence in AAP's disciplinary committee.
One of the rebel AAP leaders, Yogendra Yadav, who has been served a show-cause notice for allegedly working to ensure the party's defeat in the Delhi Assembly polls, yesterday called the notice a "joke" and claimed there was no reference to the charges of anti-party activities against him.
