Out of 552394 results published in Regular stream, a total of 470645 students passed the examination, registering a pass percentage of 85.20. For the first time this year in the BSE history, more number of girls (238430) passed the examination than that of the boys (232215).
In the Madhyama Examination (Matriculation in Sanskrit language), the results of which were also published on the day, out of 4896 students appeared, a total of 4049 students came out successfully registering a pass percentage of 88.91.
Looking at the record number of students passing the matriculation examination this year, admissions in the Plus II colleges of the State would see tough competitions.
