Red sanders seized

Red sanders worth about Rs eight crore had been seized following tip off that large quantity of red sanders had been stored in a place at Korampallam here, Police said today.
Police said they raided a go down where a container had been parked and found that red sanders logs worth Rs eight crore had been stacked inside it.
A team led by the SP Ashwin Kotnis opened the containter and inspected it.About 20 tonnes of red sanders tree worth Rs eight crore was found tobe stored in it.
