Rediffusion launches latest version of its proprietary tool

Communication agency Rediffusion Y&R today said it has launched the 2017 version of its proprietary diagnostic tool for building and managing brands in India.
The Brand Asset Valuator (BAV) India has been developed after nationwide study of real consumers across 16 cities, tracking opinions of 10,529 respondents in the age group of 18-65 years, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the launch, Rediffusion Y&R India President Dhunji S Wadia, said: "It's a potent marketing tool, based on hard-core quantitative data, which more and more marketers should subscribe to."
Globally, Y&R's BAV has brand database spanning across 51 countries over 24 years, covering 57,400 brands in 200 different categories, capturing the feedback of over 12,05,150 respondents, the company added.

Body Shop slashes prices of bestselling ranges * Cosmetic retailer Body Shop today said it has lowered the prices for its bestselling range by 20-30 per cent, in a bid to extends its market reach.
The price change will make Body Shop a more accessible beauty brand, allowing more women and men to enjoy its iconic, animal cruelty free products more often, the company said in a statement.
Shriti Malhotra, Chief Operating Officer, Body Shop India said: "Lower prices of our best sellers will bring affordable cruelty free beauty closer to diverse consumers across age groups and geographies.
