"The referee spoiled our chances as the penalty awarded to the rival team Tata Football Academy was unjustified," coach Acharya told reporters soon after the match.
"The judgement was really disappointing as it was in poor taste as far as refereeing was concerned," he said, while denying any plans of lodging a complain with the match commissioner in this regard.
Claiming that Sesa Goa team comprised of under-17 boys, Acharya said his team was one of the best team participating in the I-league.
Earlier, exhibiting an excellent combination and accurate passes, Sesa Goa led the proceeding through a classy right footer in the 66th minutes after both the teams locked goalless at breather.

Ten minutes after Sesa Goa netted the goal, TFA made had a golden opportunity to equalise but missed the target as the ball deflected from the goalkeeper Shaikh Faiyaz and one of the player in the front committed handball.
As scoreline was 1-1, TFA put its act together and kept mounting pressure on the rival zone and succeeded in striking the winner in the 83th minute when forward Baidyanath Das headed home off a corner kick.
