Refined palm oil recovers on fresh demand

Refined palm oil prices recovered at the Vashi oils and oilseeds market here today due to fresh demand from retailers.
Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial moved up further on steady demand from shippers and soap industries.
However, groundnut oil and linseed oil maintained a stable trend in the absence of any major buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 4,035 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 4,025 and castor oil commercial rose Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 837 from Rs 835. Linseed oil was unaltered at Rs 770 per 10 kg.

While, refined palmolein gained by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 423 from its previous close of Rs 421, groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,040 per 10 kg.
