Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of market moving factors.

In non-edible, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial slipped on reduced demand from shippers and soap industries.

In futures, castorseeds prices remained bullish on consistant speculative demand following higher export enquiries.

In the edible-segment, refined palmoil moved up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 584 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 582. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,190 per 10 kg.

Turning to non-edible, castorseed bold slipped by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 3,115 from Rs 3,125 and castor oil commercial edged down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 653 from Rs 655. Linseedoil ended unaltered at Rs 705 per 10 kg.

Moving to futures, castorseed for the September contract resumed higher at Rs 3,330 and shot up further to finish at Rs 3,400 as against Rs 3,310 previously, showing a smart gain of Rs 90 per tonne.
