In the edible section, refined palmolein fell by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 620 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 624. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,220 per 10 kg.
In the non-edible segment, linseedoil slipped by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 850 as against Rs 870. While, castorseeds bold and castor oil commerical both remained unaltered at Rs 4,225 per 100 kg and Rs 875 per 10 kg, respectively.
Turning to futures, castorseeds for the September contract opened higher at Rs 4,700 and hovered between Rs 4,730 and Rs 4,670 before closing at Rs 4,715 as compared to Rs 4,685 previously, showing a gain of Rs 30 per tonne.
