In the edible segment, Refined palmolein eased by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 605 from overnight close of Rs 608. Groundnut oil unaltered at Rs 1,220 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 40 per 100 kg to Rs 3,890 from Monday's closing level of Rs 3,850 and castoroil commercial gained by Rs 8 per 10 kg to Rs 808 from Rs 800 previously. Linseed oil ended steady at Rs 830 per 10 kg.
Turning to futures, castorseeds for the September contract opened higher at Rs 4,200, later surged to Rs 4,320 before settling at Rs 4,290 as compared to Rs 4,170 yesterday. showing a net gain of Rs 120 per tonne.
