While, groundnutoil remained stable due to lack of any major buying activity.
In non-edible, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial dropped sharply in the absence of demand from shippers and soap industries.
In futures, castorseeds for the June and September contract maintained its downtrend following poor export orders.
In the edible-segment, refined palmolein slipped by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 602 from Friday's closing level of Rs 605. Groundnutoil were unaltered at Rs 1,180 per 10 kg.
Turning to non-edible, castorseed bold fell by Rs 100 per 100 kg to Rs 2,925 from Rs 3,025 yesterday and castoroil commercial declined by Rs 20 to Rs 615 from Rs 635. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 710 per 10 kg.
Moving to futures, castorseed for the June contract resumed lower at Rs 2,935 and dipped further to end at Rs 2,872 against to Rs 2,945 previously, showing a loss of Rs 73 per tonne.
The September contract also opened lower at Rs 3,110, and slid further to close at Rs 3,041 from Rs 3,123 yesterday, disclosing a fall of Rs 82 per tonne.
