Groundnut oil prices slipped due to selling pressure on the back of ample supplies.
In the non-edible section, castorseed bold and castor oil commercial regained modestly following good demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
Linseed oil continued its uptrend on consistent demand from paint and allied industries.
In futures, castorseeds eased further on speculative selling following subdued export enquiries.
In edible segment, Refined palmolein rose by Rs 6 per 10 kg to Rs 524 from Monday's closing level of Rs 518, However, groundnut oil declined by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,130 from Rs 1,140.
Moving to non-edible segment, linseedoil gained by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 810 from yesterday's closing levels of Rs 805. Castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 3,535 from Rs 3,515 and castoroil commercial edged up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 735 as compared to Rs 733 previously.
Turning to futures, castorseed December contract resumed higher at Rs 3,960 and drifted lower to finish at Rs 3,917 as against Rs 3,950 previously, showing a loss of Rs 33 per tonne.
