Refined palmolein surges on good demand

Refined palmolein surged at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on good demand from retailers.
However, groundnut oil declined further following reduced offtake from stockists and retailers.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial gained furthet owing to sustained offtake from shippers and soap industries.
While, linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible section, refined palmolein rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 502 from thursday's closing level of Rs 497. Elsewhere, groundnutoil dropped by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 955 from overnight closing level of Rs 960.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold gained by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,650 from Rs 3,625 and castor oil commercial gained Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 760 as compared to Rs 755 previously.
Linseeds oil closed unaltered at Rs 755 per 10kg.
