Refined soya oil prices fell by another 0.30 per cent at Rs 604.35 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants indulged reducing positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.
At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October month traded lower by Rs 1.80, or 0.30 per cent to Rs 604.35 per 10 kg with an open interest of 45,590 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in November contracts eased by Rs 1.40, or 0.23 per cent to Rs 596.70 per 10 kg in 45,155 lots.
Market analysts said apart from a weak trend at spot market on subdued demand, adequate stocks position on higher supplies from growing regions mainly kept pressure on refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
