Refined soya oil prices fell by 0.39 per cent to Rs 633.25 per 10 kg in futures trade today after participants reduced their exposure amid subdued demand in the spot market against adequate stocks.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in November was trading lower by Rs 2.45, or 0.39 per cent, to Rs 633.25 per 10 kg, with an open interest of 64,275 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in October eased by Rs 1.65, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 636 per 10 kg in 10,210 lots.
Market analysts said besides easing demand in the spot market, adequate stocks position on higher supplies from growing regions mainly influenced refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
