Refined soya oil prices on Friday fell Rs 1.8 to Rs 836.2 per 10 kg in futures trade as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand in spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in April declined by Rs 1.8, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 836.2 per 10 kg in 14,730 lots.
The refined soya oil contracts for May dropped by Rs 4.2, or 0.52 per cent, to Rs 805.8 per 10 kg in 22,950 lots.
Market analysts said cutting down of positions by participants against ample stocks mainly influenced refined soya oil prices.
