Continuing its rising streak for the third straight day, refined soya oil prices gained another 0.20 per cent to Rs 732 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants engaged in enlarging their positions following positive cues from spot market on rising demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in December edged up by Rs 1.45, or 0.20 per cent, to Rs 732 per 10 kg, with an open interest of 5,610 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in January was up by 35 paise, or 0.05 per cent, to Rs 728.55 per 10 kg in 56,770 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by traders, driven by strong demand in the spot market against tight stocks position on fall in supplies from producing regions, mainly kept refined soya oil prices higher at futures trade.
