Refined soya oil futures extend losses, down 0.47%
Press Trust of India New Delhi Continuing its losing streak for the third straight day, refined soya oil prices eased further by 0.47 per cent to Rs 644.40 per 10 kg in futures trade today, tracking a weak trend at spot market on muted demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in April fell by Rs 3.05, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 644.40 per 10 kg with an open interest of 28,910 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in March contracts traded lower by Rs 2.90, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 651.90 per 10 kg in 58,310 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by traders owing to sluggish demand in the physical market against adequate stocks position on increased supplies from producing regions kept refined soya oil prices lower at futures trade.
