At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in March fell Rs 3.65, or 0.52 per cent, to Rs 701.30 per 10 kg with an open interest of 89,860 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in April shed Rs 3.20, or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 698.70 per 10 kg in 84,160 lots.
Analysts said besides profit-booking at higher levels by speculators amid a decline in demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position, mainly led to the fall in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
