Refined soya oil futures gain 0.26% on rising demand

Refined soya oil prices were up by 0.26 per cent to Rs 573.70 per 10 kg in futures trading today, taking positive from spot market on rising demand.
The exchange opened for the evening session as it remained closed in the morning for 'Maharashtra Day'.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in far-month August rose by Rs 1.50 or 0.26 per cent to Rs 573.70 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,55,360 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in June contracts edged higher by Rs 1.45 or 0.25 per cent to Rs 583.95 per 10 kg in 1,11,495 lots.
Market analysts said besides rising demand in the spotmarket, restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
