Refined soya oil prices fell further by 0.67 per cent to Rs 572.80 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed positions following subdued demand in spot market against adequate stocks.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August eased by Rs 3.85, or 0.67 per cent to Rs 572.80 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,53,870 lots.

Similarly, oil for delivery in June shed Rs 2.45, or 0.42 per cent to Rs 584.70 per 10 kg in 1,11,705 lots.

Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators, driven by sluggish demand in spot market against adequate stocks position mainly kept refined soya oil prices lower at futures trade.
