Refined soya oil prices eased further by 0.43 per cent to Rs 769 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators engaged in trimming positions, tracking a weak trend at spot market on easing demand.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in March fell by Rs 3.30, or 0.43 per cent to Rs 769 per 10 kg with an open interest of 10,080 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in April contracts shed Rs 2.70, or 0.34 per cent to Rs 784 per 10 kg in 62,540 lots.

Analysts said offloading of positions by participants due to slump in demand in the physical market against ample stocks position on increased arrivals from producing regions, kept refined soya oil prices down at futures trade.
