At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in March edged up by 65 paise, or 0.09 per cent to Rs 750.90 per 10 kg with an open interest of 37,370 lots.
On similar lines, the oil for delivery in April contracts traded higher by 35 paise, or 0.05 per cent to Rs 751.85 per 10 kg in 19,160 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions built up by traders due to pick up in demand in the physical market against restricted supplies from producing belts, mainly influenced refined soya oil prices in futures trade.
