Refined soya oil prices were up by 0.60 per cent to Rs 670.10 per 10 kg in futures trade market today as participants built up fresh positions, taking positive cues from spot market on pick up in demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October rose by Rs 4, or 0.60 per cent, to Rs 670.10 per 10 kg, with an open interest of 42,070 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in September gained Rs 3.10, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 660.10 per 10 kg in 32,370 lots.
Analysts said building up of positions by traders on the back of a rise in demand in the physical market against restricted supplies from growing regions mainly influenced refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
