Refined soya oil prices declined by Rs 7.35 to Rs 668.05 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants reduced their exposure amid easing demand in the spot market against sufficient stocks position.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in March fell by Rs 7.35, or 1.09 per cent to Rs 668.05 per 10 kg with an open interest of 43,800 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery far-month April declined by Rs 7.30, or 1.10 per cent to Rs 657.05 per 10 kg in 39,700 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by traders owing to muted demand in the physical market against adequate stocks position on increased supplies from producing regions, mainly pulled down refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
