Refined soya oil prices fell by 1.07 per cent to Rs 608 per 10 kg in futures trade today, triggered by a fall in demand in the spot market amid adequate stocks position.
At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June month fell by Rs 6.60, or 1.07 per cent to Rs 608.00 per 10 kg with an open interest of 29,585 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in July contracts shed Rs 6.30, or 1.04 per cent to Rs 597 per 10 kg in 2,06,205 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions due to decline in demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position, mainly kept pressure on refined soya oil prices.
