Refined soya oil prices were marginally down by 0.35 per cent to Rs 611.00 per 10 kg in futures trade today amid a weak trend at spot markets on sluggish demand against adequate stocks position.
At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August month fell by Rs 2.15 or 0.35 per cent to Rs 611.00 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,89,360 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in June contracts shed Rs 1.25, or 0.20 per cent to Rs 623.25 per 10 kg in 40,090 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions, tracking a weak trend at spot markets due to sluggish demand against adequate stocks position, mainly led to the decline in refined soya oil prices in futures trade.
