Refined soya oil prices fell by 0.43 per cent to Rs 566.20 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced positions amid subdued demand in spot market as against adequate stocks position.
At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August declined by Rs 2.45 or 0.43 per cent to Rs 566.20 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,24,320 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in June edged down by Rs 2.15, or 0.37 per cent, to Rs 582 per 10 kg in 1,16,015 lots.
Market analysts said offloading of positions by speculators on the back of subdued demand in spot market as against adequate stocks position led to decline in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
