Refined soya oil futures up 0.18% as demand picks up

Refined soya oil prices edged higher by 0.18 per cent to Rs 734.90 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators built-up fresh positions amid uptick in demand in the spot markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in December traded higher by Rs 1.35, or 0.18 per cent to Rs 734.90 per 10 kg with an open interest of 23,060 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders due to pick up in demand in the physical market, mainly influenced refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
