Relatives of martyrs honoured

The Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) today honoured the relatives of martyrs of Jharkhand.
CCL CMD Gopal Singh honoured them with a memento, a bouquet and a shawl to wife and son of Lance Naik Albert Ekka, Paramveer Chakra, who was martyred during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.
Also honoured were mother and wife Lt Col Sankalp Kumar, Sourya Chakra, wife of Naik Vispa Kerketa, Kirti Chakra, wife of constable Dhama Oraon, Veer Chakra, father of Lt Veerkumar Tiwari, wife of constable Gopichand Chourasia, mother of Constable Somnath Oraon, wife of Jabra Munda and a relative of Constable Nayan Kujur, a company release said.
These people were martyred during various fights with terrorists.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the CCL CMD said he felt proud to pay tributes to the martyrs, who made supreme sacrifice for the cause of the country.
Assuring all help to the martyrs family members, Singh released a toll free number to enable family members of the martyrs to contact CCL whenever they required.
