Trade data for the month of May 2015, which was supposed to be released today by the Commerce Ministry has been postponed.
According to an official, it is likely to be announced tomorrow as the concerned officers were stuck in a meeting.
Most of the time, the export and import data is announced on 15th of every month.
Continuing its declining trend, India's exports shrank by about 14 per cent in April to USD 22 billion, registering a contraction for fifth straight month.
The slump in exports is mainly due to global slowdown, dip in crude oil prices and rupee appreciation.
