Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy reviewed the situation with Chief Secretary P K Mohanty and other officials today and directed them to complete enumeration of losses soon, according to a press release from the Chief Minister's Office.
Officials from the Coconut Development Board in Bengaluru are reaching Srikakulam to assess the damage caused to coconut plantations in 3219 hectares due to the cyclone.
Road network has also been restored with the clearing of uprooted trees.
The flood in Vamsadhara river was also receding with rains taking a break, the release said.
