The company had sold 4,782 units in the corresponding month last year.
During January-March, the company cumulatively sold 29,289 units as against 11,404 units in the year-ago period, a rise of 157%, Renault India said in a statement.

On outlook he said: "We will continue to maintain this positive momentum as we strategically work towards increasing our market share in India."
He further said the increased sales despite the challenges the industry is facing is a reflection of customers confidence and trust on the Renault brand.
