David currently serves as Vice-President HR RNTBCI (Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India) and will continue with this role as well.
In his new role, David will be responsible for all the Alliance HR operations in India, Renault-Nissan Alliance said in a statement.
"We are pleased to welcome David in his new role and extend our full support to him in successfully executing his mandate, as we aspire to strengthen the Renault-Nissan Alliance in India," Alliance Global Director HR, Africa-Middle East-India (AMI) Region Dominique Dumoulin, said.
He will also report to Krishnan Sundararajan, Managing Director RNTBCI for specific entity related activities.
Groupe Renault, Nissan Motor and Mitsubishi Motors represent the world's largest automotive alliance. Together, the partners sold close to 10 million vehicles in nearly 200 countries in 2016.
