The New Duster range includes 6 speed manual transmission (AMT) and also boasts of superior engineering, styling, safety and comfort features, the company said.
"Over the years, Duster has firmly etched Renault on India's automotive map," Renault India Operations Country CEO and Managing Director Sumit Sawhney told reporters here.
"With the 6 speed Easy-R Automated Manual Transmission and several technical and design enhancements, we are confident that the new Duster will lead our expansion plans in India and strengthen our position in the compact SUV segment," he said.
The company has so far sold over 1.4 lakh units of Duster in India since the launch. It is sold in over 100 countries and manufactured in five countries.
Renault India is a fully owned subsidiary of France's Renault SAS and offers 7 models in the Indian market from the entry level Kwid to the luxury SUV Koleos.
