Renuka Ramnath joins IiAS board

Well known banker Renuka Ramnath has joined the board of proxy advisory firm Institutional Investor Advisory Services (IiAS).
She founded the investment advisory firm Multiples Alternate Asset Management Pvt Ltd, which manages more than USD 400 million of private equity funds. She had also served as ICICI Ventures' MD and CEO for over a decade.
In a statement today, IiAS co-founder and director Anil Singhvi said the firm would immensely benefit from her experience and ideas.
"India's growth over the next few years will depend on its ability to attract overseas investments, for which corporate India will need to strengthen its governance standards.
"I am pleased to join the board of IiAS, which has raised the level of debate on corporate governance issues and emerged as a market influencer within such a short span," Renuka Ramnath said.
