Meanwhile, Abdul Qayyum Changezi, a leader of the Quetta United Council (QUC), said those creating trouble during the burials were "irrelevant" people and were not related to the victims of the bombing. "Few people got emotional during the process but everything is under control now," Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Quetta Mir Zubair said. In the Sindh Assembly session in Karachi, some MPAs demanded Quetta be placed under control of the armed forces. MPA Jam Madad Ali, who belongs to the opposition PML functional party, said no one should oppose the army's deployment in Quetta in existing circumstances. He said the civilian government has lost its writ in the Balochistan province as innocent people are being killed. "This is not a matter of self-esteem. We demand control of the city be given to the armed forces for a while till the situation returns to the normal," he said.
