The gunbattle concluded around 5.20 pm today, PRO Defence S N Acharya said, adding that one AK-47 rifle was recovered from the slain terrorist. The condition of the injured Army jawan, identified as Sepoy Major Singh was stated to be stable, Acharya said. The operation was still under progress when the last reports came in, he said. This is the first infiltration bid along LoC in Jammu and Kashmir after January 8 beheading of two jawans by the Pakistani troops in Poonch's Mendhar sector.
