Iran's official news agency is reporting that international inspectors will visit two nuclear sites in the coming days.
Today's report by IRNA quotes Behrouz Kamalvandi, spokesman of Iran's atomic department, as saying the inspectors will visit a uranium mine and a uranium-thickening facility in Ardakan. The inspectors are from the United Nations atomic agency.
Kamalvandi says with those visits, Iran will have met seven requirements demanded by the International Atomic Energy Agency by May 15. He says "six steps have been taken."
He did not elaborate, but those steps include revealing information about its development of a detonator that can be used in nuclear weapons.
The West fears Iran's nuclear program could allow it to build an atomic bomb. Iran says its program is for peaceful purposes.
