'Reports of violence will lead to cancellation of arms

All arms licenses of a village in the district would be cancelled if there are any reports of violence from there, a senior police officer today said.
Several phone numbers are under our surveillance and we will not spare rumourmongers and others trying to disturb peace in the area, SSP Dipak Kumar said while addressing a programme at the district panchayat office to maintain peace and harmony.
Urging upon people to take proactive roles in maintaining communal harmony in the district, Kumar said, people should act responsibly and inform police about any person trying to create trouble and disturb peace in the villages.
