Republican presidential candidates slam Hillary Clinton, media

Democratic presidential front- runner Hillary Clinton was slammed by Republican presidential aspirants who also criticised the mainstream media alleging that they act as a lobbying group for the former First Lady who is now eyeing to be the first woman president of the US.
"We can't afford another four years of that (the Obama Administration). Which is what we're gonna get if we elect a big government liberal like Hillary Clinton to the White House," Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio said.
In response to a question, the Florida Senator alleged that the mainstream media is acting as a lobbyist for Clinton.

"I'm running for president because there is no way we can elect Clinton to continue the policies of Barack Obama," he said.
"Last week, Clinton went before a committee. She admitted she had sent e-mails to her family saying, 'Hey, this attack at Benghazi was caused by al-Qaeda-like elements'. She spent over a week telling the families of those victims and the American people that it was because of a video. And yet the mainstream media is going around saying it was the greatest week in Clinton's campaign," Rubio said.
"It was the week she got exposed as a liar...But she has her super PAC helping her out, the American mainstream media," Rubio said amidst huge applause from the audience.

"Let me tell you, Donald Trump would be a president every day of the week and twice on Sunday, rather than Hillary. I've spent a lifetime in politics fighting the Clinton machine," said Mike Huckabee, another Republican presidential candidate.

"You want to talk about what we're going to be up against next year?...Well, let me tell you one thing that I am the only guy that has consistently fought the Clinton machine every election I was ever in over the past 26 years. And not only did I fight them, but I beat them," he said.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said, "I know who the pessimist is. It's Hillary Clinton. And you put me on that stage against her next September, she won't get within 10 miles of the White House. Take it to the bank."

"I may not be your dream candidate just yet, but I can assure you I am Hillary Clinton's worst nightmare. And in your heart of hearts, you cannot wait to see a debate between Hillary Clinton and Carly Fiorina. I will tell you this, I will beat Hillary Clinton," Carly Florina said in her remarks.
Clinton responded through a statement that she would win the presidential elections.
"We're not going to let them demean women, deport immigrants, and destabilise our economy. We're going to fight for our families and our country - and if we do our jobs right, we're going to win this election," she said.

GOP candidates also slammed the questions being asked to them by the host of the debate - the anchors from CNBC.
"The questions that have been asked so far in this debate illustrate why the American people don't trust the media," Ted Cruz said amidst applause.
