Former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot said today that there was a lot of resentment against the Vasundhara Raje government in the state and people were rooting for change.

He claimed that despite winning a huge 163 seats in the Assembly, the behaviour and conduct of the chief minister was such that it caused pain to the people.

Commenting on Raje's proposed state tour, Gehlot said nothing will work now as the BJP government stood fully exposed.

The people will not be misled this time and any yatra by the chief minister would not work, Gehlot, while talking to reporters at the state Congress committee office, said.

He said the chief minister in her 'yatra' before the last Assembly elections had made several promises including 15 lakh jobs, protection to women among others but they were not fulfilled.

The former chief minister said the Modi wave helped BJP in forming government last time but now the public had realised the reality of the chief minister.

He exuded confidence that Congress would form the next government in the state.
