Both the hotels are expected to be operational in another two years, Residency Hotels Managing Director Ravi Appasamy told reporters here.
The proposed hotel in Madurai would come up in Avaniapuram near the airport at a cost of Rs 100 crore and have 100 to 125 rooms, he said.
The Chennai-based Residency group had purchased land in Mysuru at a prime location and planned to have a 100 room hotel at a cost of Rs 50 crore, he added.
The renovation of other hotels in the group would follow in a phased manner, he added.
