Respite for Nagpur as maximum temperature drops

The maximum temperature in Nagpur dropped a bit today after hovering at 47 degree Celsius for the last two days, giving respite to people.
The city recorded maximum temperature of 46.5 degree Celsius (against yesterday's 47) while neighbouring Chandrapur recorded maximum temperature of 47.6 degree Celsius, highest in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra today, said the Regional Meteorological Centre here.
Maximum temperatures recorded at Akola is 44.7, Amravati 44.8, Bramhapuri 45.8, Washim 42.6, Wardha 46.9 and Yavatmal 46.8.
