Restore communication, power supply in snow-bound areas: JKLC

Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Chairman Haji Anayat Ali today directed the government to take all necessary steps for clearing snow from the roads and restoration of power supply in snow-bound areas in the state.
"Services should be restored in all snow-bound areas particularly in Karnah, Gurez and Dachan where the public utilities have been badly affected," he asked the government.
The Council Chairman issued the directions in response to the concern raised by the members including Javaid Ahmad Mirchal, Sajad Ahmad Kichloo, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Jughal Kishore and Sham Lal Bhagat.
