Retailers' demand lifts maize prices
Press Trust of India New Delhi Maize prices edged higher by Rs 10 per quintal in lacklustre trade at the wholesale grains market on mild demand from retailers.
Traders said scattered demand from retailers against limited arrivals from producing regions mainly led to the rise in maize prices.
In the national capital, maize went up by Rs 10 to Rs 1,225-1,220 per quintal.
