Retired army jawan shot dead in UP

A retired army jawan was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Sadabad Mandi Samiti area here, police said today.
Siyaram Fauji was enroute to Bedaie village in his car yesterday when he was stopped by car-borne assailants who opened fire, killing him on the spot, police said.
The passers-by later informed the police and the body was sent for postmortem, they said adding that the murder seems to be an outcome of old enmity.
