Mahesh Kumar Jain, posted as Kanungo in Hindoli Tehsil was nabbed while accepting a bribe of Rs 13,000 at his office at Dablana village, Station Hose Officer Neeraj Gupta said.
The revenue officer had allegedly demanded a bribe of a total of Rs 26,000 from complainant Surajmal for blocking the auction of his bricks furnaces which was built on a government land, Gupta said.
